Take part in the International Congress 2014 by submitting a Late Breaking Abstract from 1 to 31 of May 2014.

To submit your abstract, simply log-in to MyERS and select "abstracts" section.

Only the best Late Breaking Abstracts will be accepted.

GUIDELINES FOR LATE BREAKING ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS

  • A late breaking abstract should contain new and exciting information that was not yet available at the regular abstract submission deadline of February 1, 2014.
  • The data in the abstract must not be published prior to the meeting.
  • Please note that the late breaking abstract deadline is not an extension of the regular abstract submission deadline.
  • For your information, the acceptance rate of the 1st round abstracts is around 80%. The acceptance rate for the late breaking abstracts is under 50%.

HOW TO SUBMIT

  • Please submit your late breaking abstract online.
  • Guidelines for late breaking abstracts are the same as for regular abstracts. Late breaking abstracts should contain novel data. Deadline: May 31, 2014
  • All submitted late breaking abstracts will be forwarded to the Scientific Programme Committee for their consideration.
  • A notification regarding acceptance or rejection will be sent to the presenting author of the abstract before the end of July 2014.
  • For your information, the acceptance rate of the 1st round abstracts is around 80%. The acceptance rate for the late breaking abstracts is under 50%.

For both the first round and the late breaking round, only the best abstracts are accepted for the Free Communication sessions and will be presented as Oral Presentations, Thematic Posters and Poster Discussions.

All submitted abstracts are reviewed anonymously based on scientific strength, methodology and the data provided, as well as on the novelty/originality of the findings. Make sure your abstract is correct as it cannot be modified once it has been submitted. We recommend you ask your peers to proofread it.

A good abstract is not only based on its content. A good message needs to be clear and well-communicated.
