Organizer and Chair: Maria Belvisis (ERS Research Director)
Co-chair: Stephen Holgate (ERS Science Council Chair)

Target audience: Recipients of ERS Fellowships 1997–2014, potential candidates for ERS Fellowships, ERS Fellows' Host and Home Supervisors, members of the ERS College of Experts for the review of Fellowship applications, young investigators and scientists, Lung Science Conference mentees and mentors, participants under 35 years of age, Junior Members' Working Group, ERS Officers and Assembly Heads.

Aims: The aim of this session is to bring together ERS Fellows who were awarded an ERS Fellowship between 1997 and 2013, as well as experts involved in reviewing applications, so that they can communicate their experience to anyone interested in applying for an ERS Fellowship.

This conference also aims to provide a valuable networking platform for young individuals who wish to interact with experienced ERS Officers or who wish to share their experiences with other young fellows.

A special focus this year will be on the topics "Careers for women in science" by Elisbeth Bel (ERS President-Elect) and "Careers for scientists in industry" by Gary Anderson (University of Melbourne).
