Fellowships

ERS fellowships provide financial support to investigators, clinicians and respiratory practitioners in the early stages of their career for a respiratory research project in or outside of Europe. They boost careers, promote the exchange of knowledge and develop respiratory networks between countries.

Between October 2014 to June 2015, ERS funded 53 fellowships. Seven were in partnership with national and scientific societies, four by an unrestricted grant and four by the European Commission. ERS is continuously expanding the portfolio fellowships the Society offers.

ERS fellowships provide an invaluable experience for new skills development in another country. They boost careers, promote the exchange of knowledge and develop respiratory networks between countries. More information on www.ersnet.org/fellowships
