Congress highlight: the Educational programme

The Educational Programme at the ERS Congress offers a comprehensive range of activities to suit all learning preferences. Built upon the feedback and opinions of ERS members throughout the year, the programme aims to meet the needs of our wide variety of delegates and their specialist areas of interest.

This year sees the return of a number of sessions due to the popularity and effectiveness of their format – these sessions include meet the expert, postgraduate courses, skills workshops, challenging clinical cases and HERMES examinations.

New this year are a number of interactive postgraduate courses, which include group activities designed to deepen participants understanding of the lectures using interaction between participants and faculty. Also new are the professional development workshops, which are led by experts in their respective fields and provide practical tips and guidance on selected topics and procedures. Discussions, workshops and activities in small groups are a key focus of the programme, with the aim of fostering interaction between participants as well as with the faculty.
