Sponsorship

Apply for ERS Sponsorship when submitting an abstract online.

Note that other funding opportunities are offered to delegates.

The ERS offers two types of sponsorship.

  1. Eastern, Central European and developing countries: Free Registration, per diem to cover accommodation and subsistence during the Congress, and two PG courses (or one PG Course and the Primary Care Programme)
  2. Young Scientists: Free Registration, and per diem to cover accommodation and subsistence during the Congress

You can apply by checking the appropriate box on the abstract submission form.

On-line abstract submission will be open from mid-December 2013 to February 2014.

Only authors of accepted abstracts not receiving financial support by any other sources will be eligible for these sponsorship programmes. You are therefore required to inform the ERS if you receive confirmation of financial support from an external source AT ANY STAGE up to the start of the Congress.

Eastern, Central European and developing countries

A limited number of sponsorship opportunities are available to the submitting author of an accepted abstract. The ERS offers two levels of sponsorship, Gold and Silver, which are awarded by the Programme Committee depending on the country of origin, the quality of the abstract and of the text explaining the benefits of receiving the sponsorship.

Young Scientists

The ERS is pleased to support a limited number of young scientists attending the ERS Annual Congress. The ERS Young Scientist Sponsorship is intended for young scientists from all countries, who are non-medical doctors, and who would not normally receive support from pharmaceutical companies to attend the Congress. Applicants for ERS Young Scientist Sponsorship should be aged 35 years or under on September 10, 2014 and hold a PhD with no medical degree.
