Sponsorship

ERS is pleased to offer sponsorship opportunities for delegates who submit an abstract online. Two types of sponsorship are available:

  1. ERS Congress Sponsorship: for Eastern, Central European and developing countries. Free registration, €600 to help cover accommodation and subsistence during the Congress, and two postgraduate courses.
  2. ERS Young Scientists Sponsorship: Free registration, €600 to help cover accommodation and subsistence during the Congress.

Online abstract submission will be open from mid-December 2017 to 15 February, 2018.

ERS Congress Sponsorship

A limited number of sponsorship opportunities are available to the submitting author of an accepted abstract coming from Eastern, Central European and Developing Countries. The sponsorships are awarded by the Programme Committee depending on the country of origin, the quality of the abstract and the explanation of how the sponsorship will benefit each author.

ERS Young Scientists Sponsorship

ERS is pleased to support a limited number of young scientists attending the ERS International Congress. The ERS Young Scientist Sponsorship is intended for young scientists from all countries, who are non-medical doctors, and who would not normally receive support from pharmaceutical companies to attend the Congress. Applicants for the ERS Young Scientist Sponsorship should be aged 35 years or under on September 15, 2018 and hold a PhD with no medical degree.

You can apply by checking the appropriate box on the abstract submission form. If you do not fit into these categories, check the Abstract Grants and Awards/Gold Medals sections for other funding opportunities.

Please note: If you are receiving financial support from any other sources you will not be eligible to apply for these sponsorship programmes. You are required to inform ERS if you receive confirmation of financial support from any external source at any stage up to the start of the Congress.
