Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits

ERS applies for CME Credits accreditation towards the European Board for Accreditation in Pneumology (EBAP) and the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®).

Note that both Accredication Boards (EBAP & EACCME) granted 27 European CME credits for the ERS International Congress Programme 2015. NB: The Netherland Pulmonary Physician Society (NVALT) has accredited with 20 CMW points the ERS Congress 2015.

The ERS Congress programme is reviewed by EBAP each year to provide quality assurance and continuing medical education accreditation (CME) for the event.

This means that delegates at the Congress can be awarded internationally recognised CME credits for attending the sessions.

EBAP is an independent entity that works to ensure the quality and independence of CME activities. It operates under the supervision of a Management Council composed of four members who are nominated by the Forum of European Respiratory Societies.
