Sponsorship

ERS is pleased to offer sponsorship opportunities for delegates when submitting an abstract online. Two types of sponsorship are available:

  1. Eastern, Central European and developing countries: Free registration, per diem to help cover accommodation and subsistence during the Congress, and two postgraduate courses (or one postgraduate course and the Primary Care Programme)
  2. Young Scientists: Free registration, per diem to help cover accommodation and subsistence during the Congress

You can apply by checking the appropriate box on the abstract submission form. If you do not fit into these categories, check the Abstract Grants and Awards/Gold Medals sections for other funding opportunities.

Online abstract submission will be open from mid-December 2015 to 12 February, 2016.

If you are receiving financial support from any other sources you will not be eligible to apply for these sponsorship programmes. You are required to inform ERS if you receive confirmation of financial support from any external source at any stage up to the start of the Congress.

Eastern, Central European and Developing Countries

A limited number of sponsorship opportunities are available to the submitting author of an accepted abstract. ERS offers two levels of sponsorship, Gold and Silver, which are awarded by the Programme Committee depending on the country of origin, the quality of the abstract and the explanation of how the sponsorship will benefit each author.

Young Scientists

ERS is pleased to support a limited number of young scientists attending the ERS International Congress. The ERS Young Scientist Sponsorship is intended for young scientists from all countries, who are non-medical doctors, and who would not normally receive support from pharmaceutical companies to attend the Congress. Applicants for the ERS Young Scientist Sponsorship should be aged 35 years or under on September 7, 2016 and hold a PhD with no medical degree.
