Educational programme highlights

The educational programme at the ERS International Congress 2017 truly reflects the diversity of our delegates as we cover multiple areas of specialist interest and offer a comprehensive range of activities to suit our delegates' varied learning preferences.

Our programme is developed using feedback from ERS members throughout the year, which allows us to know what has been popular, affective and worthwhile and what hasn't. With that in mind, this year we are pleased to offer:

  • Challenging clinical cases

These case-based sessions will allow participants to understand the history, pathology, analysis and treatment of complex clinical cases in different subject areas. Find out more

HERMES exams in adult and paediatric respiratory medicine take place during the Congress. They offer something for all levels; whether you are in-training, in the early stages of developing your career or a seasoned respiratory professional. Find out more

Professional development workshops aim to provide participants with practical tips and guidelines on selected topics and procedures. Find out more

Come along to the Respiratory championship quiz, where 4 teams battle it out to become the champions of respiratory medicine. Find out more
